Most people picture a trampoline park in daylight. Bright lights, a lot of noise, kids everywhere. Cosmic Night is the opposite of that, and if you have only ever been during the day, you have not really seen the park.

At most Big Air locations, Friday and Saturday nights are when we turn the lights down, turn the music up, and fire up the lasers and strobes. Same park, same attractions, completely different night out.

Here is what to expect before you go.

WHAT ACTUALLY CHANGES

The park gets transformed. Overhead lights go down, blacklights come on, lasers and strobes come up, and the music goes from background noise to the main event.

What does not change is access. Every attraction stays open. You are jumping the same courts, taking on the same dodgeball games and the same foam pit, just doing all of it under lights that make everything look different. Tricks feel bigger. The whole room feels louder in a good way.

It is the same park you already know, running at a completely different energy.

WHEN IT RUNS

Most Big Air parks run Cosmic Night on Friday and Saturday evenings, usually from 7 to 10 PM. A few run Saturday only, and at least one runs Friday only.

WHAT IT COSTS

A few parks bundle extras into it. Some include an arcade card with a Cosmic ticket, and others add pizza and a drink. If you hold a membership, check the details before you buy, because some membership tiers include Cosmic Night access at no extra cost. WHAT TO WEAR

This is the one night where what you wear genuinely changes the experience, and it is worth reading our full what to wear guide before a first visit.

Neon and white glow under blacklight. Bright neon colors and anything white will light up. Black and dark colors disappear, which is fine if that is the look you want, but most people are surprised how much of a difference it makes.

Grip socks are still required. Cosmic Night follows the same rules as any other session. If you have a pair from a previous visit, bring them.

Skip anything with loose pockets. Phones and keys come out of pockets on trampolines, and finding a dropped item in a dark park is not fun. Use a locker or leave things with whoever is not jumping.

WHO IT IS BEST FOR

Cosmic Night skews older than a typical daytime session. It works especially well for:

Older kids and teens. The age group that finds a regular jump session a bit young usually loves this one. The music and lighting make it feel like an event rather than an activity.

Groups and friend hangouts. Three hours is long enough that nobody feels rushed. For anything more organised, group events work a little differently.

Adults. Plenty of grown-ups jump, and the atmosphere at night makes it far less of a kids-only room than people expect.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING

Some parks require minors to be accompanied by an adult during Cosmic Night, so check your location's page if you were planning a drop-off.

Certain weekday and family deals do not apply during Cosmic sessions, since it is priced separately. If you are planning around a specific offer, read the fine print on it first.
